SimCity 4 Power Plant Efficiency

One of the key things that a city needs is power... preferably clean power. However, as you can see from the following table, clean power is not cheap power. I've included 2 sets of figures here. The first set is if you run the plant at 100% of capacity (normal). The second set is if you run the plant at 110% capacity. You'll notice that in order to run at plant at 110%, you have to spend 20% more per month for that extra 10%.

Coal / Gas / Oil Plant Entropy

Power plants don't produce at the same rate from the time you build them till the time you destroy them. Instead, as they get older, they get more expensive to maintain (monthly cost) and lose capacity.
