Market Street Cafe
I finally found the Thai place in York! I'd heard rumors that there was such a place (I miss having Thai ever since I moved down from Hbg), but thought it was located somewhere around Market Sq in central York. I was pointed in the right direction by friends of mine who had actually eaten there. It's located between Tremont and Ablemarle on Market St on the north side. Just a little place, really, maybe seating for 30-40? The staff was very friendly and courteous; wanting to know if I liked it (you bet!). I spent about $13 for lunch, including tip, but I also had a small bowl of soup as an appetizer. I'd stick a link in to their listing on SuperPages.com, but it's one of those million-character long links so you're better off just searching for it. Their listed hours were 11a-9p, Monday-Saturday (I think that's right).
