Pop-up windows

I know everyone hates pop-up ad windows, but sometimes they make a site design cleaner when the user wants to see something close up.

Combined HREF and JavaScript - <a href="/blog/blogarchive_2001.shtml" target="myarchive" onClick="window.open( '/blog/blogarchive_2001.shtml', 'myarchive', 'toolbar=no, location=no, directories=no, status=no, menubar=no, resizable=yes, copyhistory=no, scrollbars=yes, width=600, height=350, left=30, top=30'); return false;"> (note: I've inserted spaces in the javascript portion to make it more legible, but they should be taken out when you use them on the web page)
