Scavenger Hunt? How about inciting rioters? This may get him in trouble (if it's like shouting fire in a crowded theatre) -- or at least it probably should get him in trouble if he's telling folks that points will be given for breaking windows and puncturing tires.
Yahoo! News - Anarchist 'Scavenger Hunt' Raises D.C. Police Ire Chuck, the 37 year-old webmaster of the anarchist site www.infoshop.org who declined to give his last name, told Reuters his scavenger hunt was meant as a joke.

Putting the Pieces Back Together
Yeah, I've been... hmm, sick for about 8-9 months; and, as tends to happen when one is sick, things don't get done, you lose track of where you stand with everything. I'm only 4 months into treatment (heck of a lot better then I was even a month or two ago) -- and I'll detail that in a week or two when I'm ready to revisit those months. So anyway, I'm slowly putting bits and pieces back in place.
Friday's big piece? getting my palm-cellphone hooked back up and synchronizing with my MSOutlook so I don't miss any more appointments. (Usually by the time I get home, I forget to enter my apointments in my calendar - but if I enter them in the palmpilot right away, they don't get forgotten.) That's a big step for me in getting back in charge of day-to-day life, but I just didn't have the energy to sit down and figure out how to "fix" the synchronization issues. (Plus, I have PocketQuicken which lets me enter expenses while on the road -- meaning that I'm keeping track of my spending again.)

Oh, so you're trying to protect the phone? Drop this in the bin marked "stupid public relations". They're marketing jeans dubbed with "anti-radiation" pockets that are specifically designed to hold mobile phones... yet, so as to not tick off the manufacturers of cell phones, they're trying to put the opposite spin on it. Hmmm, if cell-phones don't put out radiation, why do I need anti-radiation jeans?
Yahoo! News - 'Anti-Radiation' Trousers Fuel Mobile Phone Debate US jeans maker Levi Strauss & Co. denied on Thursday it was playing on consumer fears by launching a line of trousers fitted with "anti-radiation" pockets for mobile phones. ... "We're not implying in any way that mobile phones are dangerous," Levi's European communications manager Cedric Jungpeter told Reuters.

Bizarro News
Dunno... this just seems, wrong.
Cable TV Series To Search For US Presidential Candidate "We think it's a marriage of a tried-and-true concept, as shown by `American Idol,' with a down-home political spin to it," said Peter Liguori, FX president. The network is part of News Corp. . "We are a nation where, quote-unquote, anybody can become president, and this is a concept that gives everyday folks a forum to express their point of view and have people respond to it."

Spam of the Day
Spam of the day - It's been too long... hmm, so long that I don't remember? yeah, right... how about that I never answered your ad in the first place? Oh well, I give this one a few points for having multiple spelling/grammer errors ("its", "sacred").
---------------------------------------------------- From: easyone29@webbebox.com Subject: its been too long
Hows it going, Sorry I have not contacted you for such a long time. I wanted to give my old relationship sometime to heal. You once answered an ad I placed in the personals and I was reluctant or you can say sacred to follow through. But since I ended that relationship I am open for anything right now. If you do not remember me here's my pics and profile http://www.netdatepersonals.com my handle is foreveryoung29, if you are still available. Let me know what you think.
Thanks, Joanna

Freshman 15 Okay, so maybe I did hear this term back when I was in college... but when I saw it in a news story today it made me curious. Interesting that some of the sources call it a myth.
