Master of Orion II

Now where did I hide that CD?

With Master of Orion 3 (official web site) just around the corner, I've been searching high and low throughout the apartment, trying to find my old copy of MOO2. Now, I know I never got it to run effectively under Windows 2000, but I was hoping that I could possibly get it to run in Windows XP using compatibility mode (MOO2 was designed for Windows 95/98).

That is... if I can find the blasted CD!

(about 15 minutes later...)

Ah ha! I found it in a CD-ROM drive that had croaked on me... (had to use the paperclip method to pop the drawer open).

If this is Friday, it must be a good thing

Okay, silly title that doesn't really work... call it the stupid post of the week just because I'm too tired to post something else.

First part of the week was a 3 day trip to Long Island, New York for business. Which meant a drastic change in diet (eating out all the time) as well as being much more "on the go" then I am when working at home. So, combined with getting home at 1130pm on Wednesday night, it's not too surprising that my stomache is rebelling and I'm a bit under the weather the past 2 days.

Oh well, time to triage the task list, figure out what's needing to be done today, and what can wait until Monday.
