NBC's LAX
Well, LAX wasn't *too* bad, I'd give it a B+. Locklear, of course, is trying to play a part that she's about 10 years too old for (or maybe it's just the fault of the wardrobe/makeup folks). No "magic" technology spotted (which is my pet peeve).
I think they spent way too much time trying to introduce non-key characters rather then focusing on the two who were vying for the director spot. There were also too many mini-crises competing for time not to mention stupidly using a car to stop a jumbo jet.
Plot wise, it looks similar to the content of a typical Las Vegas episode (main thread, comical side thread, second semi-serious or relationship thread).
