Spam Stats
Number of spam e-mails per day on my work e-mail account, along with the month to month change:
2003/10 - 93
2003/11 - 103 (+7.5%)
2003/12 - 116 (+12.6%)
2004/01 - 101 (-12.9%)
2004/02 - 117 (+15.8%)
Seems to be trending upwards. My SpamBayes filter is starting to allow 1-3 per week through the filter, but I have yet to find a false-positive where something got scored as definite spam that wasn't. Usually, false-positives get tagged merely as "maybes" and it's easy to pick those out prior to tagging the rest of the "maybes" as definites.Labels: Spam
