Thinkpad T60 (2623D4U)

More models and prices have been released.

This looks like the "sweet spot" model for me. It's a 1400x1050 display using the dual-core CPU. Price is $1750 at CDW (CDW #926294). 80GB HD, 512MB RAM, and WinXP Pro.

I wish I could find a 15" 1400x1050 display, but the only 15" model with 1400x1050 starts at $2800. I'm hoping to see a slightly cheaper version of the 15" hi-res display in a few months.

Another 1GB of RAM (to take the unit up to 1.5GB) is around $150. The docking station is around $220.
